Founded by a passionate surfer and technology entrepreneur, Surf Snaps was born from a simple idea: to connect athletes with their perfect moments and photographers with a passion for capturing them. What started as a surf photography site has grown into a marketplace for sports and action photos of every kind, serving photographers and buyers across the United States.
The Vision
As an avid surfer, our founder, Cezar Pekelman, noticed that beaches were often lined with photographers capturing amazing surf moments, but there was no easy way for surfers to find and purchase those images.
"I would see photographers on the beach taking hundreds of photos, and I'd always wonder if they caught any of my rides," says Cezar. "But there was no way to connect with them or find those photos later. I knew there had to be a better solution."
Surf Snaps was created to solve this problem for both sides of the lens.
