Surf Snaps is a platform where photographers can share and sell their sports and action photography. Visitors can discover great moments from surfing, soccer, running, and any other sport, captured by talented photographers around the world, and purchase high-resolution digital downloads.

You can search for photos by using the Explore page. You can filter photos by sport, location (venue, city, or state), and date. This helps you find photos from the specific events that matter to you.

No, you do not need an account to browse photos. However, you will need to create an account to purchase photos or to upload your own photos as a photographer.

SmugMug is a good tool for hosting your own portfolio, but it relies on people already knowing your name or gallery link. CityPro is a booking app, surfers have to find and book you before you shoot them, so your income depends on being chosen ahead of time. Surf Snaps works after the fact: you upload and tag photos by spot, session, and date, and any surfer who was out there, booked or not, can search and find themselves later. We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Payments are securely processed through Stripe.

Photographers earn 90% of the sale price for each photo. The remaining 10% goes to Surf Snaps for running things like hosting and payments.

You will get paid via bank account transfer on the first of every month for all your sales.

Surf Snaps welcomes sports and action photography of any kind - surfing, soccer, running, and beyond. This includes action shots, landscapes, and lifestyle photos from your event. All photos must be your original work and must follow our content guidelines.
