For over four decades, Webster was a fixture on the Sonoma Coast, dedicating himself to a remarkable feat: surfing every single day. He officially held the world record for the most consecutive days surfing – a staggering 14,641 days – a commitment that earned him a legendary status within the surfing community.

"He was quite a character," shared longtime friend and board shaper William Beal. "He was a real quiet, kind of mellow guy who was just obsessed with surfing."
